Personal Background of Gil Lopez - Your Central New Jersey Realtor

Gil was born and raised in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.  Some of the earliest jobs that he had while still attending school (vendor in Yankee Stadium, taxi cab driver and bank teller) helped to instill the importance of excellent customer service which is so important to being a successful REALTOR in the current market.  In 1978 Gil and his wife Janice chose to move to the family friendly Clara Barton section of Edison to raise their children.

Community Involvement

After moving to New Jersey Gil became very active in the Fords-Clara Barton Little League and Soccer programs and headed up the Youth Program in his local parish as a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Gil has become very active in fundraising for research to help find a cure for ovarian cancer.

Personal Interests

Gil enjoys going into NYC for a Broadway play and dinner.  His five (soon to be six) grandchildren keep him on his toes.  When time permits (which is not often), Gil enjoys chasing a little white ball around any of the local golf courses.  He makes a point every year to carve time during the summer to get together with family down in LBI soaking up the sun and enjoying the many fine restaurants.

The 4.8 sq. mile city of Perth Amboy is an historic city – having celebrated its 325th anniversary last year. Also know as the “City by the Bay” Perth Amboy is also noted for its revitalized waterfront where the city was first settled and one of the few places left in New Jersey that has a historic and marina culture surrounded by water. Local attractions include two small museums, an art gallery, a yacht club, and a marina. Near the marina lies a park with a small bandshell. On Sunday afternoons in the summertime, Perth Amboy hosts the Concerts by the Bay in the park's bandshell. The waterfront is also characterized by a redbrick promenade near the water and many stately Victorian homes, some on hills overlooking the bay and predominating tree lined streets with well-manicured lawns. It has a number of seafood restaurants, as well.

The asking price of $209,900 is the lowest for any 3+ bedroom and 2.5 bath townhome townhome currently available in Perth Amboy! The owner is motivated and is looking for a quick closing. So what are you waiting for?
