E-Certified REALTORĀ® Seniors Real Estate Specialists (SRES) Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource MLS

Why use a RealtorĀ®?

Buying or selling a home is usually the most expensive transaction you will be involved in during your lifetime.  What makes a Realtor your best professional resource?

Contracts and Negotiation

Realtors® are trained to understand and negotiate the terms of contracts. They are well-versed in the language of real estate and will help you navigate through the home buying or home selling process. If problems arise, Realtors® have the expertise and training to hold transactions together.

Up-to-Date Knowledge

In order to maintain an active real estate license, Realtors® must take continuing education courses on a regular basis. These courses keep them up-to-date on trends in the real estate industry. Realtors® must also complete coursework on real estate law, and can elect to fulfill additional education requirements in areas including market trends, sales techniques, technology and marketing.

Marketing and Sales Experts

Realtors® have the ability to network with their profession and to place homes for sale on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). They can customize marketing and sales programs specific to the property. These programs can include advertising on the Internet (Realtor.com, Trulia.com, Zillow.com, etc.), and sending direct mail to a large database of potential customers.

Code of Ethics

Realtors® must have a current license in good standing with the state agency that licenses real estate professionals. Compliance with these agencies and The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) code of ethics is critical; it is the basis which real estate practice is measured.

Specialties

Many Realtors® are accredited in areas of specialty that offer additional benefits to customers. For example, some agents may have a specialization in luxury or second home sales, some may focus on first-time homebuyers and others may have expertise in Short Sales and Foreclosures.  I hold certifications for Short Sales and Foreclosures (SFR) as well as Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

My team and I will oversee the transaction with you from start to finish. We will do everything possible to make the transition from one home to another as smooth as possible.

What you can expect from me:

  1. Dedicate myself to making the process of selling your home, buying a new home or renting your next place as easy and as successful as possible.
  2. Respect you, your needs and be honest and forthright.
  3. Hold your best interests in the highest regard throughout the process.
  4. Value and respect your time, being as efficient and effective as possible.
  5. Understand your needs and respond to them.
  6. Use my base of experience, knowledge, tools and the most up-to-date training to best serve you.

Feel free to contact me anytime, whether it's to get started on helping you realize your goals and dreams, or just to ask a question. I welcome the opportunity to make a difference for you.

 St. Huberts

I'm proud to report that my canine companion, Einstein and I have been certified by St. Huberts Animal Welfare Center to do pet therapy. Founded in 1939, St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of companion animals.  Its services to the community include pet adoption and animal rescue, animal-assisted therapy, humane education, dog training, and pet loss support.

St. Hubert's Animal Center has shelters in Madison and North Branch NJ and a Dog Training School in Madison, NJ. For more information about St. Hubert's, call 973- 377-7094, or you may visit St. Hubert's on the Web at: www.sthuberts.org.   It's such a rewarding experience to bring joy to another by enriching their lives by the animal human bond.

Habitat for Humanity

Have you ever wanted to be involved building a home?  Its a big undertaking.  It really does take a village of people to help.  Fortunately there are alot of people skilled or not that are willing, ready and able to do so.  What a great feeling it is to be involved with helping to build a house for someone in dire need.  I have had the pleasure of being involved with the "Women Build" and Hunterdon Somerset Association of Realtors event in Bridgewater, N.J.

Some other organizations I have been actively involved in are:

Alzheimer's Association

American Cancer Society

American Diabetes Association

Autism Awareness

Franklin Township Food Bank

How I can help you?

When you think about buying or selling a home what word comes to mind?  Most people want to say "exciting" but what they really think of is "stressful".  Buying or selling real estate can be challenging but it should be as stressfree as possible.  Having a honest, knowledgeable Realtor guide you through the process makes it so much easier for all parties involved.  I pride myself on being just that Realtor.  With my extensive background in communications and project management I tend to resolve issues before they have a chance to surface.  I feel that's my responsibility. I would want my Realtor to do that for me. Your time is valuable and so is mine.  Let's not waste it doing stupid stuff when we could be spending time with our family and friends having fun!

I treat people the way I want to be treated; with courtesy, integrity and respect.  My parents brought me up that way. Before you choose a realtor you should interview a few to see if you get along.  We all have different personalities and sometimes they conflict.  You want to be able to confide in your Realtor and feel comfortable doing so.  I hope you will give me an opportunity to represent you and your interests.

Give me a call/ text on 732.616.1550 or send me an e-mail to set up an interview.  Yes, I said interview.  Isn't that what it really is?  An opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if we want to work together to create a win-win situation?  Pardon the corporate jargon but isn't that the case?  I really do hope to hear from you.  Then we can get busy working on making your real estate dreams a reality.

Professional Background

I continuously strive to educate myself on the real estate industry and current market trends.  I participate in workshops and seminars such as those held at the annual Triple Play Convention in Atlantic City.

In addition, I have completed Sweathogs Sales Training in 2010 and First Steps Training with Prudential New Jersey Properties in August of 2011.  Prior to working at Prudential I worked at Century 21 and completed their Real Estate Sales Training program in October of 2007.  My Century 21 office which was located on Easton Avenue in Somerset for over 30 years merged with Prudential New Jersey Properties in June of 2011.

Most recently I obtained certification as a Senior Real Estate Specialist which provided insight on helping all generations.  Being a "baby boomer" myself I know many of us are caring for our parents, our children or our children's children.  Times have changed and we each require different methods of communication.   My goal is to provide you with whatever that may be.

Prior to being a real estate professional I spent over 25 years in corporate telecommunications.  My areas of experience include but are not limited to:

  • Communications
  • Customer Service
  • Inventory Management
  • Managing Change
  • Problem Solving
  • Project Management
  • Quality
