Michele Chiles-Hickman

A year after graduation Michele achieved her dream of landing a job in the pharmaceutical industry and worked as a salesperson marketing pharmaceuticals for diabetes, coronary heart disease and infectious disease with Bristol Myers Squibb. After 12 years with Bristol Myers including winning the esteemed Pinnacle award in 2003 Michele decided to leave and focus totally on a career as a Realtor full time and landlord/investor.

She was initially licensed as a Realtor in 2000 and began to get experience part-time while still on her previous job during the day. Over her real estate career Michele has listed and sold homes throughout Essex and Union Counties.

In addition to marketing homes for clients Michele has gained unsurpassed experience as a landlord and property owner herself. With this personal experience, received over the last 17 years, she brings to the table more than most all other Realtors can offer.

In June of 2006 Michele earned the designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS); a distinction held by just 4% of Realtors nationwide. Added to that, she earned the designation of Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) in January of 2008 and of course participates as a member of the National Board of Realtors and as a committee member of several West Essex Board of Realtors teams.

Michele currently holds the position of Membership Co_Chair for the state board of CRS for 2013.
