Here is a little about me:

My real name is Mitchell; however I've been called Mimi since I was a baby.
As a longtime resident of Summit (my parents bought their house in 1967), I bring a wealth of knowledge about the town and the surrounding communities.
I am also a huge personal fan of this area; I believe it one of the most desirable locations in the suburbs of New Jersey within a commuting distance to the city.
I have worked in a number of different fields, bringing a broad set of skills and knowledge base to my real-estate career.

Professional Background

Before starting in real estate, I had a varied career as an elementary school teacher and as a special-events planner. I've also worked for an advertising agency in New York and for a brokerage firm here in the suburbs.

Personal Background

I was born in Naples, Florida, and moved to Delray Beach when I was a baby. I lived in the Sunshine State until I was 7 years old, when my family moved to Essex Fells, New Jersey. My mother and stepdad bought a house in Summit in 1967, where they raised my older sister and me through high school. I have spent most of my life here in Summit, except for a few years back in Florida to be near family members and pursue my bachelor's degree. My father and sister live in Delray Beach, Florida, and my mom and stepdad are on Amelia Island. My family also includes a half-brother in California. I have remained very close with several Summit childhood friends and am active on the Summit High School reunion committee.

Personal Interests

I am an enthusiastic traveler of places both near and far. I've traveled extensively in the states as well as taking trips to Bermuda, England, France, Switzerland and Australia. Other hobbies include yoga, swimming, walking, hiking, gardening, reading and watching movies. I enjoy entertaining at home and dining at local restaurants. I am a big fan of "the city" -- museums, restaurants and taking long walks through different neighborhoods.
